Meet The Clockmaker
Hi. My name is Steve Shroyer, and I'm the clockmaker at The Cottage Clock Shop.

In 1999, I began looking for a way to work from home.  About that same time a local clock repairman was looking for someone to train.  I began working with him and developed a fascination with clocks. I also discovered that I had an aptitude for mechanical work.

In 2004 I opened my own repair shop and named it The Cottage Clock Shop because of its location in our cottage.

I repaired clocks part-time and continued working another outside job until December of 2007.

In 2108 I began repairing clocks in Tucker, Georgia. I currently split time between the Ohio and Georgia shops.

I still enjoy the repair work, but I found something I like even more. That is getting acquainted with so many interesting people. That's become my favorite part of the job!
